Identify Key Marketing Dates

Organisation is key! There are so many important dates on the horizon so it’s extra important to note them down and create content specifically for key dates that suit your businesses. Some key dates include; Halloween, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday, Christmas build up period, Boxing Day and New Years. Seasonal Promotions

Plan out all your seasonal promotions for the next few months. Seasonal promotions are a great way to entice new customers and reward existing customers for doing business with you. Some ideas could include free shipping, a sale for specific dates such as Black Friday weekend and a free gift with a purchase of X amount. Not only do the promotions themselves help generate sales and brand awareness but promotions give great inspiration for social media content to get your customers buzzing about what you have to offer.

Plan and Set Your Marketing Budget

Now is a great time to look at your financial resources and set your marketing budget for the Autumn and Winter season. Once you’ve decided on your budget, get creating great adverts for Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn. Make sure once you have your ads on the go, you are regularly checking throughout the season to see what adverts are working within the current market and which adverts are not and change accordingly. And don’t forget your A/B testing!

Finalise Your Marketing Funnels

Take extra time and care to analyse your audience and audience behaviour throughout your marketing funnels. Make sure that each of your customers are being nurtured throughout your marketing with the end goal of that customer being converted into a sale and then a loyal customer.
